Realität und Kunst zu verknüpfen fordert mich mit jeder neuen Illustration heraus und es macht Spaß, die für Pop Art typischen klaren Formen, Figuren und Elemente mit extravaganten Farben und Mustern oder verführerischen und verspielten Details zu kombinieren. Meine Hauptdarstellerinnen sind junge, natürlich proportionierte, fotorealistische und vor allem schöne Frauen, starke Charaktere verschiedener Kulturen, mit Ausstrahlung und Sexappeal. Inspiriert durch die unverkennbaren Farben und Formen der Siebziger und mit viel Liebe zum Detail am Erscheinungsbild meiner zumeist weiblichen Modelle, schuf ich während der vergangenen Jahre einen individuellen Stil, der den jungen Lifestyle von heute mit einzigartigem Retrochic kombiniert. Mit Lounge Musik im Ohr entwerfe ich Illustrationen für die unterschiedlichsten, internationalen Projekte und fühle mich im Editorial und Fashion Design, in der Cover- und Advertising Gestaltung für die Musikindustrie, genauso wie im Verlagswesen für Kunstdrucke und Papeterie zu Hause. Linking reality to art in every new illustration is a challenge for me and it’s a lot of fun to combine the typical clear shapes, figures and elements for pop art with extravagant colours and patterns or seductive and playful details. My main actors are young (naturally well-proportioned) realistic and especially attractive women, strong characters from various cultures with a great aura and sex appeal. Inspired by the unmistakeable colours and shapes of the 70’s and with a great love of the details of the appearance of my mostly feminine models, I have created an individualised style in past years that combines the young lifestyle of today with a unique retro chic. With lounge music in my ears, I design illustrations for a wide variety of international projects and I feel at home in editorial and fashion design, laying out covers and advertising for the music industry and publishing for art prints and paper.
